| Here's
my life in a nutshell. I have two kids -Thomas, 19 and James 17. They
are both attending The Catholic University of America. Thomas is a sophomore
and chemistry major. James is a freshman and a pre-law major.
We just had our 24th wedding anniversary. I married Jim Crawford from St. Michael's parish on 43rd Street in 1979. Jim and I now work at Re/Max Greater Atlanta and sell real estate in the Atlanta area. We are both brokers, but we do not own the Re/Max we work from, nor do we manage it. There are 197 agents in my office and several thousand altogether in our 14 offices. I graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in Political Science, seriously considered law school and even got into one in Texas, but got married and we moved immediately to Washington, DC for Jim's job at Treasury.
We lived in Maryland and Virginia while there for ten years. Very long story, but Jim was injured on the job and we "retired" to Atlanta after Jim was transferred to Buffalo for a short stint. We thought we'd work at real estate a little since we were both licensed in other states (me in VA and Jim in MD, VA, NY, DC), and it has turned into a 24/7 job!
Jim is a Webmaster, so he designs and promotes the web and works the tech side of the business while I mostly work the clients. He is also a public speaker for real estate, which he enjoys because he gets to travel a little during the year. Right now, we're empty nesters and really miss our boys - they are truly the light of our lives!
St. Mike's has already had several reunions, which Jim attended and loved. Kathy Cunningham Merrill lives 5 miles from me and we see each other a lot. She's really a wonderful, wonderful person. Her Mom still lives in the same house on 8th street, but my Mom has moved with my brother to NJ.
