| I
went to Brooklyn Preparatory high school and then Polytechnic
Institute of Brooklyn, graduating in 1971 with a B.S in Aerospace
Engineering. Since the job market wasn’t happening in my chosen
field, I took another path and started working as a computer
programmer. My first job was at Hunter College and from there
I moved around to work in the publishing area, health care,
telecommunications, etc. I got married in 1973 and divorced
in 1978. I moved to San Diego in 1987 and got into financial
services, still as a programmer analyst. In 1998, I took a little
“career detour” and am now working as a technical writer and
trainer for a financial services software company. |
