| The
years spent at Saint Thomas Aquinas Grammar School were followed by my
attending Saint Augustine High School (Christian Brothers school). The
next destination was St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights. The Franciscans
awarded me a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Sociology major in 1971.
During both my high school and college years I was fortunate to work for a couple of stock brokerage houses (Richard J. Buck & Co. and Bache & Co.) and later moved on to the New York Times.
In 1972 I began working at Equitable Life in midtown Manhattan. Attended evening classes at the Long Island University Graduate School of Business and received an MBA degree in 1978.
I’ve since been employed at Equicor, Cigna and my current employer Empire BlueCross BlueShield.
I currently live in the Kensington area (bordering on Windsor Terrace) just a couple of neighborhoods away from St. Thomas Aquinas. |
