| After
graduation from St. Joseph’s High School in downtown Brooklyn, I
went to work for several Wall Street firms and married my husband Dan
(St. Augustine ’67) in 1971. We decided to do the “Green Acres”
thing and moved from Brooklyn in 1978 to New Hampshire. We both started
new careers, Dan in the hospitality industry as a hotel sales executive
and me as a certified paralegal. Dan’s career moved us several times
over the years - New Hampshire for five years; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
for three years; Columbus, Ohio for twelve years; and now Atlanta, Georgia
for the past six years. We love the South (despite what Ellen Lovett Crawford
will tell you)! We have one son, David, who is 20 years old, enrolled
in community college in Atlanta and working as a catering assistant. I
enjoy coming back to Brooklyn to visit my mother and sister every few
months and seeing what’s new and still around in the old neighborhood.
